The rules

ARTICLE 1: INTRODUCTION

The first edition of the 35Km du Périphérique-Grand Paris is organised by Lemon Grass Events with the sponsorship and support of the Paris City Council.

ARTICLE 2: REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

ARTICLE 2.1

Runners and cyclists participate in this event under their own responsibility. The agency declines all responsibility for accidents caused by physical failure due to poor health.
Only registrations made and paid for online will be accepted.
Registration will only be validated once the medical certificate has been submitted on the website.
This medical certificate must include a statement confirming that there is no contraindication to competitive running, and must be dated to within one year of race day.
Cyclists shall sign a liability waiver.

ARTICLE 2.2

Registration can be made online at www.35kmduperiph.com.
The entry fee is €45 for runners (+€2.25 registration fee) and €25 for cyclists (+€1.25 registration fee).
THE ORGANISATION WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY REGISTRATIONS ON THE DAY OF THE RACE OR IN THE VILLAGE.

ARTICLE 2.3

No bib collection on Sunday, the day race! They can be collected beforehand, on Friday or Saturday, between 9am and 7pm, at the exhibition Village (Stade Jean Pierre Wimille, 73-85 Boulevard de l’Amiral Bruix, Paris 16).

Present your medical certificate to collect your bib.

To collect a bib on behalf of another person or team, you must present a photocopy of their identity card and medical certificate.

ARTICLE 3: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE RACE

Running: The exhibition village will welcome participants from 7:00am. The start will take place on the ring road at Porte Dauphine at 8:20am for disabled persons and at 8:30am for others. Different start waves will be put in place.

Cycling: The exhibition village will welcome participants from 7:00am. The start will take place on the ring road at Porte Dauphine at 2:00pm. Different start waves will be put in place.

ARTICLE 4 : REWARDS

A technical T-shirt will be given to each participant*.
Awards: the prize giving ceremony will take place at the Porte Dauphine.
Surprise reward for each race podium (open men, open women).

*Note for cyclists: Children under 12 will not receive a technical top. Only a bracelet, participant’s bib and goodies from our partners.

ARTICLE 5: SECURITY

Race medical assistance is provided by the French Red Cross and route security is provided by volunteer marshals and the police.

ARTICLE 6: LIABILITY

The organisers are covered for civil liability by an insurance policy in accordance with the road races charter.
License holders benefit from guarantees in relation to their licences.
It is the responsibility of non-license holders to take out personal insurance (civil liability).
The organisers cannot be held responsible for any theft or damage that may occur during the event.

Reminder: each non-licensed participant must provide a medical certificate of no contraindication to competitive running dated within one year of race day.

ARTICLE 7: IMAGE RIGHTS

Participants authorise the organiser and its partners, in particular Lemon Grass Sport and Lemon Grass Events, directly and/or through the intermediary of any service provider of their choice, to film, photograph and record their image and/or voice at any other time relating to the race (preparation, race itself, prize-giving etc.).

Participants authorise the organiser and its partners to use, directly or indirectly, for two years, free of charge, the images and sounds recorded during their participation in the race (preparation, the race itself, the prize giving, etc.) on a commercial basis or otherwise, in full or in part, on all known or unknown media (in particular TV, videograms, CDs, DVDs, websites, posters, in particular in places of sale and/or in event media)) for commercial or non-commercial purposes, in full or in part, on all known or unknown media (in particular TV, videograms, CDs, DVDs, websites, posters, in particular at points of sale and/or in shop windows, press, cinema, leaflets or brochures, catalogues, press kits), in France, to illustrate any communications or promotional campaign related or not to the race.“

ARTICLE 8: CANCELLATION

If the event is cancelled for reasons of force majeure (prefectural or municipal decree) or for any other reason beyond the control of the organisers, no reimbursement of the registration fee can be made and no compensation received.

In the case of an individual or group registration made and paid for online, no refund or compensation can be claimed by the registered person(s) in case of withdrawal or non-attendance on the day of the event.

You have the option to take out cancellation insurance for the events. It must be taken out when you register on the platform.

No refund can be requested from the organisation.

ARTICLE 9: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

TRAFFIC:
No vehicles allowed – junctions protected by police and marshals.

ACCESS:
Metro: Porte Dauphine – Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny (line 1 and 2)
Bus: Lines 82 – Marbeau, 52 – Bugeaud, 244 – Jardin d’acclimatation
RER C: Porte Maillot 
No parking is provided.

TOILET FACILITIES:
Toilets will be available at the welcome Village – Stade Jean Pierre Wimille, 73-85 Boulevard de l’Amiral Bruix, Paris 16.

AGREEMENT:
Each competitor acknowledges having read the rules and accepts all the clauses.

DATA PROTECTION AND PROCESSING:
The participants’ details may be processed in accordance with the French Data Protection Act. The personal data provided by participants will be communicated by the organiser to its partners. They may be used for commercial purposes.

Pursuant to Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on information technology, files and freedoms, participants in the event have the right to oppose (art. 26), access (art. 34 to 38), rectify and delete (art. 36) personal data concerning them.
